This is one of those rare opportunities ,since my parents didn't make many mistakes, but they did here and at least once more to set it right. I'm referring to the edition numbers. I think this makes them more rare. Like, a double headed penny.
Ikki Matsumoto was a world-renowned artist who lived in SW Florida. He has been capturing the beautiful Florida birds since 1975. His most famous work can be found in the 1975 Edition of "The Joy of Cooking". He also has an Egg in the Smithsonian Museum in Washington DC. He was invited to paint the egg by Nancy Reagan while her husband served as President.

My father only did a few etchings. He traveled to the Pacific Northwest to take a workshop on etchings, but only decided to do just a few. He went back to silkscreening. Also, increasing the value of this piece is the numbers on the edition do not match...Artist error. These are a highly sought after set. I would recommend replacing the glass, matting, and backboard. I have not seen this piece in person (only these photographs), so I can't tell is it is plexiglass or glass. It will be professionally packed and insured for full value. I will mail you an artist bio and certificates of authenticity. Any questions, please text me at 239-888-4017.
